Hi, we are having huge trouble with our Halo 2 Hub. Worked fine for the first few months now, the last 2 days it’s been switching off, every 2 hours virtually, and takes upto 20 / 40 mins to reset every time. Happens all times of the day and night. Makes working from home tedious.

have sent a complaint via email, not heard back as yet.

we have done all the trouble shooting suggested, we have checked the speed and line, all ok.

no local faults ..( me9 Kent.)

We had some snow, can this affect it?...? No neighbours affected though...

I wish we could rectify this, quickly! it’s so frustrating.

the lights on the hub, go from purple/pink flashing , then orange flashing.

any Advice is most welcome. Thankyou.

When you you have done all the checking did you do quiet line check to see if any line noise?  Did you try using the test socket with a filter to see if that improves stability

which master do you have

Re: Halo2

Did you do quiet line test with a corded phone or cordless. If corded should be silent

have you tried removing faceplate of master socket and connect to the test socket to eliminate the faceplate and internal wiring as causing problems

Re: Halo2

The line test we did on a cordless phone, certainly wasn’t silent.

so, do we just unscrew front plate then?  Is there another socket inside then to test it.......?

thankyou.

Re: Halo2

So we’ve just take front plate off, and plugged straight into the point,
Re checked phone line , much improved, much quieter.
Wifi back on, will see how stable it is from now...
Here ‘s hoping! Thanks for your help so far, much appreciated.
I guess we will need an engineer to come fit a new box,possibly?...
