Hi, Will there be anything wrong in switching off the Hub-5 for a few weeks. When I get back will there be technical problems i.e; speed. Further, in the few weeks it is off will that also affect remote broadband on my mobile and can that still be access?

Turning off the HH5 for a couple of weeks will have no ill effects on your connection.
How will you be able to remote in if the HH5 is off?
If you mean will you still be able to use BTWifi or other hotspots on your mobile phone the answer is yes you will even if your Homehub is switched off.
