Home Hub 5 Disconnecting

For the last 2 days the Home Hub 5 has started dropping connection at night the first time the hub started flashing green and then was followed by a orange light, once the blue light came back on I checked the hub stats and it still showed 13 days connection time.

Then during the day yesterday open RG made it go down for reboot around 2 and then last night it seems like it dropped again with the following:

05:42:15, 20 May. ( 16.390000) Boot reason: watchdog reset

At the moment speed does not seem to be affected but I am wondering if the home hub may be faulty? if so will a mod be able to help me?

Re: Home Hub 5 Disconnecting

Yep reset the hub this morning 🙂

I am wondering since our contract is coming to an end early July and we had had BT call us about renewing (we have not renewed yet) if we would be able to get a replacement hub from them if we do renew?

I will keep this thread updated but something doesnt seem right, we have had a really good solid connection for the last few months, I am really hoping DLM does not kick in 😕

Re: Home Hub 5 Disconnecting

yo will not get a replacement automatically at renewal but you could try making it a condition of renewal  you may be asked to pay the £6.95 postage though.  practice your negotiating skills and prepare with other current offers
