Go to solution

if your hub does not disconnected from the internet then iis this a wireless problem with your hub

you need to give move details - hub stats and btspeedtester diagnostic results

Re: Home Hub 5 slows down every day and needs a reset

you stats are almost identical

so this is wireless problem not an internet conenction problem

have you turned off smart setup  http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/44328/~/switching-smart-setup-on-and-off-on-the-bt-ho...

then split the networks as many devices do not like the 2 networks sync together  http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/44798/related/1

you can also select your own channel rather than automatic

you can try downloading inssider3 (istumbler if MAC) and then run it. This will show the broadcasting networks round about you and their channels including your own. If you then enter your router and change your wireless channel to a free or less congested channel.

inssider3.1.2.1

@gvi

start your own subject and post the router stats and btspeedtester diagnostic test results - must be done wired not wireless

if your download speed problem is when using wireless but ok when wired then your internet conenction is ok
