So, I took a day off and spent the day waiting for my home hub to be delivered, but sadly it's never turned up. Worryingly, there's no tracking information on the My BT part of the website. All of my order details appear as expected.
My Infinity 2 installation date is next Tuesday the 29th, I just hope that it has turned up by then.
I contacted BT via the contact form and got the following automated reply:
Our aim is to get back to you in ASAP. However we are currently experiencing exceptional demand and it could take up to 10 days before we get back to you.
Not a good start
the new hubs should be able to fit through your letterbox.
It can take a few days to be delivered and often not until the day before the installation.
Actually reading this, mine was supposed to arrive today, I tried to use PF to track but nothing, but now I have read the posts up above I understand!. 🙂 By the way Ade.., your first post, that is just a standard BT PM they send out to everyone, dont panik!.
Thanks everyone. It's just kind of frustrating to take a day off to wait for a package that doesn't arrive when it was meant to.

Well, after what seems like hours on hold I managed to get through to somebody at BT, and sure enough, my hub hasn't been dispatched. The very nice man told me he would get one dispatched today but not to worry if it didn't turn up in time, as the engineer would have a spare. I think I'm right in saying that even if he does has a spare he won't be able to connect it.
The saga continues…
I don't have a hub at the moment, as my broadband is provided by another provider. I've got A speedtouch ADSL Router.
I've just had a call from a lady at BT saying that my hub wasn't delivered due to lack of stock, and that she is re-ordering it now for delivery on Wednesday. My installation is due for tomorrow afternoon(Tuesday) between 1 and 6 PM: she said that the BT engineer should carry a spare. Again, I somehow doubt that that will help.
Why are BT advertising things that they cannot supply, or at least letting me know that it won't be delivered?
Got mine to day also Dongle so dont panik it will come. Read my post P.11, in the Home Hub 5 thread I have explained things. 🙂
