We've seen Openreach engineers installing FTTP in our village (they confirmed this) over the past months. Some neighbours now have options of up to 300Mbps but our address/phone number still shows as FTTC (which is over 2km away!). The new fibre goes right past our house from Cabinet 30 in Potters Bar.
Presuming that it's a question of old records, any ideas of how to get the records updated?
You might have to repeat sending the form until you get a human response if you get automated replies at first.
