Re: How do I get BT to take repairing the fault on my Broadband seriously?

@philiphiatt I'm really sorry about the fault with your broadband and the time this is taking to resolve. I'll send you a private message in a moment so you can send over your details to the moderation team and we'll be happy to find out what's going on with the repair.

Thanks

Neil

Re: How do I get BT to take repairing the fault on my Broadband seriously?

If BT are your ISP, then they should keep you advised of what’s going on ( presumably someone told you about the splitter issue ) but ultimately it’s Openreach that are responsible for fixing whatever has a fault….it’s possible that whatever the issue is cannot be fixed immediately, sometimes the local authority has to be given notice and that could cause a delay, or ( for example ) you live on a new building site , and the issue is with something the developer is responsible for ( because the roads/footpaths are not adopted OR cannot simply send in a contractor to dig up paths etc ) ,but as already said , even if a delay is unavoidable, you should be kept advised.

Thank you but I know that and doesn't move me forward.

If that is your exchange area I can give you an update tomorrow of when the problem is due to be fixed as it ia a pole that needs to be replaced.

Missed your exchange post, at least you know it's not an Openreach fault.
