I was not sure where to put this and I saw similar threads here.
Anyway I have checked on the where and when website and it says enabled area with the cabinet to come. Is this a way I can find out for sure if my cabinet is getting upgraded with the others in the area?
What cabinet and exchange are you on?
If you go to http://dslchecker.BT.com/adsl andd post the service grid including exchange and cab number.
However remember to edit out you landline number/address
Hi, this is what I get on that site not sure if this is the information you wanted but it seems the most relevent.
and this is what I get from the Where and When website
Your cabinet's being upgraded to FTTC as part of BDUK West Sussex Phase 14a. There are no specific dates, but I would imagine within the next 3-6 months, as other cabinets in the area have overrun with their times (Cabinet 7 was only recently completed).
(Cabinet 1 is supposed to be done by March, but everything is overrunning).
The exchange is already accepting FTTC orders from some cabinets.
By the looks of things Cab 1 planned to get a FTTC DSLAM Cabinet, though no signs of planned roadworks or signs of deployment regarding this cab just yet.
The exchange area is covered by two different BDUK broadband schemes.
You are best to contact either:
1) Hampshire Superfast Broadband via email@example.com with your address, postcode, landline number to see if they have any more information
2) West Sussex - betterconnected via firstname.lastname@example.org with your address, postcode, landline number to see if they have any more information.
