Welll the answer appears to be 2 years from posting this.

Have to try again after 30th June. Apparently despite being 'available' it isnt actually ready.
Absolutely raging and really wish there was someone I could vent these frustrations at who'd actually do soemthing about it.
BT cant do anything and Openreach are completely unaccountable to anyone it seems.
Time to email my MP even though I know he's already of issues in our area.
Not that it helps but I have a cab in my area with exactly same power problem also for 2 years - and still waiting

BT havent cancelld my order yet despite them saying openreach say its not available
The Openreach website says its available
Openreach themsevles (via an enquiry form) say my cabinet is ready and I should contact my ISP
So its a guessing game until next Wednesday
Well today is the day.
Shiny new HH5 is connected and ready.

I dont know what went on last week.. BT said cancelled on Monday but seemed to have placed the order the next day.
Wholesale availibilty checker says open order is due to be completed by 25th Feb. This concerns me slightly as my BT account says today.

So would you take by 25th Feb to mean on 25th Feb?
I'd be pretty annoyed if this was the case and BT Retail havent notified me.
Then again they didnt tell me my connection was actually going ahead.
even infinity 2 is in most cases self install just need to wait and see if engineer turns up
