Re: 80Mbit, getting stuck at slower speed.

You need to use the form that comes up by clicking the link and not the PM system. You should have got an automated response with a reference number if you used the link in the moderators profile.

Re: 80Mbit, getting stuck at slower speed.

Hi @Travelusa,

We have your email. We deal with queries in turn so once you reach the top of the queue either myself or one of the other mods will be in touch.

Cheers

David

Re: 80Mbit, getting stuck at slower speed.

Thanks

When you can please had issue for 2 months.

Would be great to get it resolved

Still no text or any updates

current results cannot get ip profile

Data rate:

10.00 Mbps / 67.00 Mbps

Maximum data rate:

22884 / 81969

Noise margin:

14.2 dB / 9.6 dB

Line attenuation:

15.6 dB

b4 the issues used to get 78 download 19 upload

the noise level used to be both 9 dv

the max was higher at some time showing 89mb download with 28 mb upload

So i assume openreach are doing something to the dsalm that is causing my issue

Re: How long does it take for a ip profile to restore

Crosstalk is the likelt reason for the reduction in max attainable.

Your line is banded likely due to instability and or errors.

Re: How long does it take for a ip profile to restore

Anybody have an idea what the answer is to the OP's original query?, namely how long does it take for the profile to restore?

Re: How long does it take for a ip profile to restore

It can take a few weeks or even months depending on if the line is stable or not.
