I had slow downloads on 31/7 and ran the BT speed tester. This confirmed that download speed had dropped from the usual 75Mbps to about 5Mbps and BT's further tests diagnosed that this was due to a line fault outside my home. The fault was supposed to have been fixed by 6pm yesterday.
Surprise: It hasn't been, I still have slow download speeds, resulting in iPlayer videos stalling etc.
I've had no communication from BT that the fault has been cleared and Fault Tracking shows the fault report is still open, however BT Help say that the egnineer fixed it.
I can't prove to BT Help that the download speed is still slow and there is still a line fault because the BT Speed Test page just redirects to the open fault report.
