Hello - not sure if anyone else has had this problem. I've always had the standard Broadband package and recently decided to upgrade to Infinity - switch over to new service was yesterday.
I received Home Hub 5 last week which I plugged in - all ok, working with standard broadband, but as soon as the switch happened yesterday I'm getting a flashing Orange light. I've tried all the usual resets / off-on and spoke to BT helpdesk last night whose line test couldn't locate a fault...

I'm not as tech savvy as you so excuse me if I'm getting this wrong - does this mean I have to get an Openreach modem (to use in addition to the new HH5)?
If the light is still flashing orange there is obviously a problem. You should get back onto BT and get them to sort it out. Your broadband should have worked from the start or at the very latest by midnight last night.
