Infinity 1 Stabalisation time

Just moved onto Infinity 1 from ADSL.

Was promised 32/45 Mb/sec Download speed with minimum of 29 Mb/Sec

Current statistics from Wholesale speed check

Download 27.2

Upload 7.44

Ping 22.75

From hub Noise Margin is 6.2/6.3, with Attenuation of 22.7

Will these statistics improve?

How long do I have to wait for system to stabilise?

Re: Infinity 1 Stabalisation time

Hi Johnoo,

Please post your BT Home Hub 5 line stats: http://192.168.1.254 - Troubleshooting - Helpdesk.

Is the Hub connected to the test socket via a microfilter or via a SSFP?

Re: Infinity 1 Stabalisation time

If you want users on the forum to offer help you will need to post the stats here. There is nothing in the stats that can not be shown on the forum. If you have changed anything that you don't want shown just blank out. If you are not using a Homehub just post the stats from the device that you are using.

Re: Infinity 1 Stabalisation time

Having a great amount of trouble getting results to paste.

Hub Tech Log data is this:-

Data Rate 8.74/28.89

Max data Rate 8744/28892

Noise Margin 6.3/6.3

Only moved over to Infinity 1 today should I expect results in speed to improve over next few days?

Re: Infinity 1 Stabalisation time

you need to post the stats from helpdesk if you want forum help as gg already said

also post dslchecker results

can you try test socket with a filter and see if that helps as it eliminates your setup and internal wiring as causing a problem

Questions:-

1 Where do i find "Helpdesk" stats?

2 Ref DSL Checker results for some reason I can't find how to copy/paste these, get message that says "Ctrl+ V/Cmd + Vkeyboard"

I'm looking for help!

To copy and paste, highlight all the text you want to copy then press the Ctrl and C keys together. Move your mouse to where you want to paste the information and press the Ctrl and V key together.
