Infinity 2 Slow Speeds

Currently paying for Infinity 2 but struggling to get above 50Mbps on anything, Replaced the HH5 with a Arver VR900 last week as it kept dropping the wireless on us.

think anything can be done to increase the speed or it might just be worth dropping down to inifnity 1 ?

First image is from the Routers connection page, 2nd is from the broadband availabiltiy checker.

Re: Infinity 2 Slow Speeds

Have you tried connecting your router to the test socket using a micro filter by removing the faceplate of the master socket (usually where the line enters the house)? This will give the best connection as it removes any potential for your internal wiring or extensions to be adding "noise" to the line. Ultimately though, you're connecting within the expected range for your line. The max you can expect to get would be another 7meg. Is it really worth the extra money? Probably not, unless you're a super heavy use household with many devices using a lot of bandwidth simultaneously.

Re: Infinity 2 Slow Speeds

if your noise margin drops to nearer normal 6db then your conenction speed will increase nearer your attainable speed.  this should happen automatically but will take a few weeks of 24/7 stable conenction
