Infinity 2 Slowing Down

Hi

I have had my infinity 2 for a month now .

At first all well and blistering speeds  95mbps down and 20mbps up.

Just at a months service now and ive got the speed drop.   Now down to 30mbps or less sometimes.

Just had an online chat with BT about it .

They tell me Ive never had 90+mpbs down lol .... and that its my BT Tv service downloading thats slowing it down...... sad fact is though is i dont have BT TV.

My IP Profile has halfed and this is whats slowing me down.

I do not use a BT Home HUB .

I use an ASUS DSL-AC68U which is a far superiour beast than any BT HUB.

I'll Put up some stats from the modem and hopefully someone can see something . Unfortuatly i restarted it hoping it would put my speed up again but i hasnt ... so its not been up for too long.

Re: Infinity 2 Slowing Down

With infinity 2 the max connection speed is 80mb with download a bit below that and what you are probably referring to is the max data rate which could be 80+ mb but that has no affect on your download speed

Re: Infinity 2 Slowing Down

Ok point taken ..... i did however always have 70 to 80+ mbps download speed using speedtest and BT wholesale site .

Now ive been slowed down by having my IP Profile slashed .... should i be happy with 17mbps ??? Would you be from 70+ ?

Your IP profile is
>> IP Profile for your line is - 62.97 Mbps
Hardly slashed.
