Infinity below estimated speed

Hello,

I've noticed gfast pods have started popping up in Exmouth so its got me looking at my Infinity speed and what i should be expecting to receive.

Here are the stats from my Smart Hub:

Data rate: 20.00 Mbps / 59.70 Mbps
Maximum data rate: 20690 / 61372
Noise margin: 6.1 dB / 6.3 dB
Line attenuation: 12.7 dB

The welcome email from BT estimates i should be receiving between 66-80Mbps so I'm obviously below this.

I have tried all the usual tests and tricks such as quiet line test, connecting directly to test sockets etc. but it makes no difference

Given i'm under the estimated speed am i able to ask BT to investigate and try and improve things?

Re: Infinity below estimated speed

What's your current handback speed shown here for your phone number:

https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/

Your current speed may have reduced due to increased crosstalk from other lines.

Re: Infinity below estimated speed

Handback is 60.6 for impacted and 62.8 for clean.

Re: Infinity below estimated speed

Can you connect to test socket with a filter a post the complete hub stats. Advanced settings then technical log information. Before you move the connection what the current dsl uptime?

have you had problems with connection dropping

can you post the full results from the dslchecker   https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html

Any noise on quiet line test. Dial 17070 option 2 should be silent and best with corded phone

Re: Infinity below estimated speed

Hmmm ok so it sounds like you're putting speed down to crosstalk? I guess there's nothing I can ask BT to do about it?

When g.fast becomes available will this suffer the same issue?
