Re: Infinity disconnects once per day

as I posted already depends which modem you have - Hg612 try google/Kitz for simple instructions but if ECI forget it unless you are very good with soldering iron

Re: Infinity disconnects once per day

BT have said that the line results show a strong connection.

What would be the next steps from here? Is SHINE solvable if the interference is external to the properly?

Re: Infinity disconnects once per day

the connection time is short but probably when you connected the hub

your conenction speed looks good and almost at attainable with noise margin down at 3.3db suggesting the G.INP is active

any previous disconnection problems have not impacted on your conenction speed

Connection time is short because that's when it disconnected.

So... What does your message mean in terms of remediation please?

Re: Infinity disconnects once per day

so are disconnections still happening daily with SH2 connected?  roughly same time ?

for some reason the the disconnections are not triggering the DLM to take action

That's correct. I only just got the SH2 yesterday though.

I'll leave it a few days then report back.

Re: Infinity disconnects once per day

Have you tried making sure that whatever is connected to the router (both wired and wireless ) is disconnected , and see if that changes the situation, if the disconnection happens after midnight or very early morning....one evening try everything ( both wired , and wireless ) disconnected and check in the morning if the disconnection still took place, it's not clear from the earlier posts if you have tried eliminating your own equipment as the possible cause.

Re: Infinity disconnects once per day

I still seem to be getting disconnects - time has randomised again, this time it is at 8:39 then 8:49 am:

DSL uptime:0 days,00 Hours24 Mins41 Secs
Data rate:20 Mbps / 72.726 Mbps
Maximum data rate:25.417 Mbps / 75.492 Mbps
Noise margin:9.3 / 3.4
Line attenuation:15.6 / 20.9
Signal attenuation:15.2 / 21.6
VLAN id:101
Upstream error control:Off
Downstream error control:Off

Sometimes I won't actually get a link loss, but will get no data throughput for about a minute.

Don't think anything on the WiFi/ethernet could be causing this - the issue would likely be on the broadband side.
