Infinity installation with xNTE - but no engineer needed?

Go to solution
Hi, I recently ordered Infinity 1 and have been told that I don't need to be home when it's activated. However, from what I can see I have an xNTE with no master socket in the house (it's a new build house). From what I've read, an engineer would need to do some work internally to provide a master socket. Can anyone confirm if this is correct, and will an engineer turn up on 9th February when I'm out, or am I worrying over nothing and it will all work fine as it is? I'm pretty competent and could probably install my own internal master, but I'm unsure about what to do for the best. Thanks for helping.

No you don't need an internal NTE or SSFP with self install, just plug your HH5 in to whatever internal LJU you want using the ADSL Filters provided......
