The OP doesn't have a slow speed issue, they have a no connection issue due to the circuit not being connected correctly at the cabinet.

Yes I realise that, but does a trace not show that the connection between his computer and the router is not the problem?

Let's just hope that BT/Openreach can rectify the problem asap.

 

By the way I've just been looking at Monitis visual traceroute, looks interesting, but one has to pay for the service.

 

I'm leaving now, lots of sunshine to enjoy. Cul.

We know that already as the lights on the hub tell us he has no sync 🙂
