Infinity regular drop-outs. Home hub 5

I've had infinity since mid December. I get at least one or two dropouts/restarts per day.

Yesterday that increased dramatically. I now get 10 seconds to 2 minutes online, then a drop/reboot. It doesn't always reconnect first time.

BT say they're sending out a new hub, but I suspect the problem is further up the line.

Your suspicions coluld be right but until you try the replacement you will never know. This is why I , personally, have always been against "all in one" units.

 

IMHO ISP's should just supply a modem for the connection and the customer supply whatever they need for the network they are running.
