Infinity speed has dropped by 12Mb - now Ultra HD sport no longer works

May – 2016 cabinet upgraded to infinity initial speed on connection 44Kbps which then settled to 36Kbps, Ultra HD4k sport channel ordered and working fine.

Mid November - speed drops to 24Kbps not enough bandwidth for Ultra 4k so channel no longer works.

Contacted BT who say they are providing the guaranteed speed therefore nothing more than they can do.

BT.com states  you could get 30Mb - 40Mb,  You currently get 30Mb - 40Mb (i don't), 27Mb Minimum speed guarantee.

recent speed check (PC directly wired from master socket into HH6) shows

Download speedachieved during the test was - 22.89 Mbps

For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 16.62 Mbps-23.74 Mbps .

Additional Information:

IP Profile for your line is - 23.74 Mbps

2. Upstream Test:  -provides background information.

Upload Speed

3.75 Mbps

0 Mbps 20 Mbps

Max Achievable Speed

Upload speed achieved during the test was - 3.75Mbps

Additional Information:

Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 20 Mbps

I have also had recent issues with wifi connections to the Hub.

Can anyone here offer any suggestions or can a Mod help check the line / IP profile etc

Are you connected to the master socket or an extension socket?

If you have a Homehub 5 can you also post the stats from 1-12 by logging onto the homehub management pages then troubleshooting > helpdesk. http://bthomehub.home/

The stats for the Home Hub 6 can be found on the Information page from http://192.168.1.254 then Advanced Settings -> Technical Log.

Can you run this checker and post back a screen shot of the results. Make sure you delete your phone number before posting

Have you tried a quiet line test? 17070 option 2. Any noise report as a line fault don't mention broadband.

Can you remove the faceplate and connect to the test socket.

Once you've done that can you post up the connection stats from the home hub management page?
