I still think if you have noise on quiet line test - it should be absolutely silent apart from announcement- then you need to get engineer visit until you get engineer to finds the cause and fixes the problem
I've had openreach engineers out before. He couldn't find any faults and claimed it must be "interference from the fridge".
As far as I can tell the line is no more noisy now than it was before, and my connection has been very stable for the last two years.
What about those stats I posted, do they show anything out of the ordinary?
Sorry for delayed reply been working a lot at the moment. Got a new router sent to me still no difference an now my speeds have fallen off a cliff. I have infinite an normally get 60mb down easy at the moment i cant get 5mb
