Internet dropping out wired and wireless

I'm on infinity 1,  after around 5 to 6pm the internet drops right out wired and wireless.

The light stays blue on the home hub 5 but no internet whatsoever, only a reboot puts it right.

Any clues ?

Presumably this is a regular occurrence and it's not only happened once or twice?

 

From what you posted the VDSL uptime shows 2hrs 45mins. Was that captured just after a reboot and hence the short connection time?

 

When the "internet drop" occurs does the line state under Advanced -> Broadband -> Connection still show as connected? Is there anything in the logs at the time of the problem? You can see these from Troubleshooting -> Event Log and then filter on WAN.

Not looked if it is still showing as connected but I will.  The connection had dropped this morning when I was up for work at 2am, I only noticed as I was checking my email on my phone just before I left the house, so I rebooted the hub and it was fine.

Can't see any problems in the event log.  Not sure what I should be looking for.

Not sure what the logs will show either, but if you can get them just after the connection drop issue you're seeing and post them back here, we can take a look.

smf22.  One thing that has occured to me is, a few weeks ago my upload speed increased from around 32mbps to 45mbps.  I think that might of triggered the unstability causing the dropouts. It is now back to 30-32mbps and not had any drops for a couple of days..

Upload on Infinity 1 is capped to 10meg.
