He read out some covid 19 warnings which I had to agree to.

Including... " Are you self isolating " " Is anyone in your home self isolating " and " Are anybody in your home high risk for the covid " of which I answered no to.

He also asked would there be any restrictions i.e stairs, pets, locked doors etc

Maybe you are right then. it says " our engineers arent going inside homes during lockdown " in the email

but the guy on the phone said he may need to come in ? Confused

Ok I phoned up again. They said there are new procedures in place whereby they can enter the premises if I consent to it.
They will also clean surfaces and be distancing themselves

I tried this and I get a hissing sound / static sound. Does that indicate a problem ?

It is a very old phone to be fair 

is it likely he will have to enter the premesis or just do the work externally?

I've been having the same issue since Feb 2 years was fine now none stop resetting line test is fine just just still cant get a fix
