Is ADSL filter different to VDSL?

Hi all,

Quick question.

Standard BT ADSL faceplate do it need upgrading if a customer upgrades to VDSL?

I was wondering if there is any difference in the filtering?

Regards,

Paul

A new filtered face plate will be fitted to the master socket which will do away with the need to have filters on any telephone extensions that you may have.

Re: Is ADSL filter different to VDSL?

It only filters the phone side of the circuit (low pass filter), so the ADSL/VDSL simply passes through unaffected. So it does not matter which type you use.
