Are you doing the ping over wifi ?
I know how you must feel right now, the game is not that smooth like on 20-30ms, im getting like 60-80ms on west eu servers, its really sad. Just done another speedtest and pingtest; still 45-50ms, its unacceptable on fibre optic...
Can I arrange an engineer visit to reset the line? It is really hard to play on that ping, I am getting over 40ms to closest UK servers, people from different countries such as germany, sweden, poland get lower ping to UK servers than me...
As a point of view of a "Devil's Advocate" you are recieving the speeds that were promised to you as confirmed by your previous thread. So I cannot see how you can cancel without any penalty.
That said, you connection does appear to be "not fit for purpose" however, you never got back to us from your previous thread so we can only presume things went better?
If things changed, or took a turn for the worse then why start a new thread? Wouldn't it be better to post in the original one instead of having the same replies or requests for more info in this one?
I still have yet to see where the first hop is returning at 37ms (perhaps you can highlight it for my old eyes as hop 1 appears from your post to be 1ms ), I'm not saying your tracert does not show a problem though.
If you just posted to have a rant then fair enough, can quite understand it. But please put at the end "rant over".
Are you trolling now?
I know I am getting promised speed its fine but I don't care about the speed that much, but I still don't understand one thing, when I put the next road which is very close to me and is connected to the same cabinet it gives me full speed. To be honest I am just worried about the latency, I can accept 20-25ms but not 45ms+ it is obviously too high for fibre optic broadband?
Yes right, 1st hop must be <1ms, but the 2nd one is over 30ms don't you think it is too high and unacceptable?
an engineer will only request a reset if a fault is found
still you know best no further help from me
