So I did two speed tests, one to my closest location and one to London, both had the same ping (19ms), surely the test closest to my location would have a lower ping? (Recently ingame I’ve been having ping/connection issues... again =9)
Yes, usually the test closest to your location would have a lower ping, however this is dependant on the traffic to the site closest to your location. If there is much more traffic travelling to the site nearest to you then that in turn would slow down your Ping time or affect it slightly at least. Usually Ping time is most affected during Peak times, this is due to a large amount of people using the same data site at the same time, therefore demanding a lot of download, upload and ping capabilities.
