Landline not working

Hi, 

I’ve recently signed up for broadband, arranged for the engineer to come on the 21st feb, I had a message from him the 7th feb saying we wasn’t in but the landline is activated so I just need to plug in my router, I did that and just got a constant orange colour on the router. I have plugged in a landline phone and there is no dial tone so the landline doesn’t seem to be connected. I’ve tried phoning bt from my mobile but because I don’t have my landline phone number yet I can’t get through to anyone.

Ring 0800 800 150, ignore any prompts for a phone number or enter any random 11 digit number, speak to the 'Connections' team and they can tell you the status of the order, it's the reference starting VOL013- on your order confirmation.
