Line Speed Slow, High SNR. Previously Fine, Vigor 130 Config

Hi All,

 

Ive been having some issues with my broadband I previously sat at 74MB Down 19MB Up.

 

However im currently sitting at 48MB Down and 16MB up with a SNR of 12!

 

There had been alot of works with BT on going in the area, which resulted in some disconnections. Ive also been moving furnuture around which resulted in a couple of restarts of the Modem.

 

Can the IP Profile / Snr be reset as it is now below the threshold for handback?

 

Also on another note im using a Vigor 130, But  i do have access to a HG612. What would be the better option? stick with the 130 or move onto the HG612?

 

Ive tried calling BT but i never have any luck at all, always get someone who is less than willing to help of listen.

BT cannot reset the profile, you will have to wait until it recovers on its own, which could take a couple of weeks.

So do not disconnect or restart the modem.

 

PS Its better if you upload images to your forum gallery, and not to external sites.
