Line attenuation

Go to solution

My Line attenuation has changed from 17 to 28.7. My download speed has went from 67 to 44, can anyone suggest why this has happened ? I’ve had a stable line for about 4 years with no real issues.

I guess it’s a botched firmware upgrade then. I’ve got a unlocked openreach modem but the 6a is not compatible. I think it’s a case for waiting for new firmware. Do you think bt know about this and actually are looking for a fix?

I'm sure they'll be aware but how long it will take them to sort out is anyone's guess.
