List of Routers to replace Home Hub 3.

It might be helpful to have a list of routers in one thread, that people have succesfully replaced the HH3 for whatever reason.

I hope Rottie won't mind me starting the list off with one of his "known to work" from msg #2 in THIS THREAD.

Netgear WNR3500L

Any others?.... if none then my great idea has proven to adopt the flight profile of a lead balloon.

Isn't there a Draytek Vigor that is meant to be the uber router?  £130 or something.

That is  a modem/ router combined which would be excluded from a thread about routers only.

D--Link DIR 615, Belkin PlayMax and Belkin N1 Vision have all worked flawlessly for me.

ah ok, i misread the thread then.  I didn't realise that routers were such a problem.  Surely any cable modem will do?  i guess not.

Shucks - spoilsport!

It really is the dog's whatnots and does an excellent job far better than linking up with the OR Modem

:smileywink: Don't tell anyone tell anyone it is the Vigor 2750

Another happy customer for the WNDR3700 in THIS POST Sageman wrote.....

"I ended up buying a Netgear WNDR 3700. I am really pleased with it because it sorted out the main problem I had with WIFI on the HH3 which was not being able to connect my Blackberry Bold 9780......  The new router is fast my Blackberry connects to it instantly..."

Re: List of Routers to replace Home Hub 3.

Is it the Draytek Vigor 2750 that replaces both the HH3 and the Huawei modem ?
