Please.... has anyone an update on what is happening here? I rang BT and, after and hour and a half, was told that there was defintiely a problem at BT's end but the advisor didn't know what it was. He told me that a specialist team would be put onto it right away and that I would get a call from them in 24-48 hours. I didn't.
It's been ten days or more now that my download speed shifts between 0.5 and 2.7Mbps. Upload speeds are faster at about 8Mbps. I feel helpless as I don't know what else I can do except keep paying the bills and put up with it, although that doesn't seem quite fair.
An hour or so ago I had a chat with a BT Openreach engineer who was working on the box next to the Infiinity box and asked him if he knew what the local problem might be. He just told me that he wasn't aware of any problem and that I should call my IP! Been there, done that. Any ideas please?
