Locked max speed

Hi

I have blocked max speed regardless of the time when I use the internet.

I contacted the technical department, they said they fixed it, but they did not do it. As we explain that there is a blockage, it is said that it is ok.
Is someone who can unlock it?

I have a guaranteed 52Mbps.

My speed is max 45Mbps

Re: Locked max speed

connection time is only 9hrs is that due to router dropping connection or manual reset?

check for line noise  dial 17070 option 2  should be silent and best with corded phone

are you currently using the test socket with a filter, even if you have a filtered master socket, to see if that helps improve connection by eliminating faceplate and internal wiring

Re: Locked max speed

I apologize for the delay, but I do not have a phone and have to borrow. I bought a new telephone cable and a new microfilter. Test are ok with front faceplate or without are same.

All my troubles began after the renewal of the contract.

When I talked to a technician from BT, he told me that the speed should be about 68Mbps because I live about 500m from the cabin.

It is annoying that I was told that the problem was solved by the technician. And I have a guaranteed 52Mbps.

The results below from today are local and some European capitals with two different IPs.

Re: Locked max speed

are you currently using the test socket witha filter as that should be your best connection  if not can you conenct to test socket can you post new stats and see if the overall stats show any improvement   are you connecting direct to test without need for extension cable

if you have extension phone sockets then when in test socket there you do not get a dial tone at extensions

Re: Locked max speed

i was hoping you still in test socket and could post stats   Your connection speed may not have improved but your attainable and noise margin could have changed
