Low Upload and ping spikes

I have a 50Mb line which should have a 10Mb upload speed at least but on tests its coming in at 0.1 or lower. the Ping is also spiking from 7 to 100 or above.

Is anyone else having or had this issue and is there a quick fix?

I have reset the smart hub and that does nothing. and advice would me much appreciated.

Re: Low Upload and ping spikes

Hi @Rossssssss,  I'm sorry to see you're having issues with your broadband speed. Can you post your Home Hub router stats and we'll take a look? You'll get them by entering 192.168.1.254 in your browser, if you have a home hub 5 please go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and if its a Smart Hub go to advanced settings then technical log information.

I'd also recommend you do a quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 it should be silent.

no upload speed on my device

I have a 50Mb line which should have a 10Mb upload speed but when I do a speedtest, i get 50mb download and 0,00Mb upload.

However, on other devices I get the normal speeds. Any help on how to fix this?

Re: no upload speed on my device

Hi @Rossssssss,

Going by the router stats you posted and your last post which mentions that it's only one device this doesn't look like an issue with your broadband connection.

How is this device connecting to your hub ethernet cable or wifi?

If it's ethernet cable have you tried another cable?
