Master socket 5c

I took the front cover off the master socket and plugged the router into the socket inside. It's now stuck in and won't come out.
Anybody got any idea how get it out?

Re: Master socket 5c

@fisherking

I wasn't even aware you could do that.

I assume you have plugged an RJ11 connector (see pic) into it?

You could VERY VERY gently try a small flat headed screwdriver, and push the long tab back so it releases.

I hope that helps.

Kind Regards

Re: Master socket 5c

I should of mentioned that its an ADSL filter that I plugged into the socket. I had already tried a screwdriver. Just tried again but it's not coming out.

Re: Master socket 5c

Thanks guys. I managed to get it out using a tool with a narrower end than the screwdriver.
