Moved a house and eventually got internet after 3 cacanlations 😞 And was sad to find out my I'm not getting the advertised minimum speed. When doing speed tests I am getting 42mbps instead of promised 57 Mbps. My package is 62-73 Mbps.
I looked at the router data at it also shows that connection is only getting 45Mbps max.
I got a dual socket Mk4 so there is no splitter/filter being used.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what I could do to improve the speed?
As it's a new connection there will be no charge for an engineer so call it in.
Thank you for the reply pippincp. I called BT and was advised that it can take up to two weeks for connection to "stabilise", so they will not report it as a fault and asked me to call back in two weeks if speed does not improve.
I can't say i'm really happy because they messed up my move i've been withouth internet for 3 weeks and now not getting the the speed I was promised 😞
