Moved into new home, no connection

I've just moved into a new house and am without a connection.

My activation date was 18/09/19, the router has an orange/yellow light permanently on.

I have factory reset my router and it still has the same issue.

I have been unable to call customer support as I am met with "this service is currently unavailable"

What can be done to get me connected?

@murock

If you have a normal copper FTTC connection, is there dial tone on your phone?

If its a new build, then you may have a direct fibre (FTTP) connection, with an Openreach unit on the wall like this.

Re: Moved into new home, no connection

Just got through to a real human on the phone, openreach messed up the order.

Long story short won't be connected for another week or so while orders get cancelled and re-made.

So cross that this can happen and I wasn't told that there was a problem with the order until I phoned up to check what was going on. This is after receiving a confirmation email saying that my home move went through fine
