My Sync Speed has dropped by 10% (Infinity 2) after various (in home) Modem issues

I've switched VDSL Modems and been changing a lot of my settings. Now, however, if I revert to my previous setup where I used to get 80/20 I find I'm now getting 72/19. I've done a lot of reboots of my equipment and assume this has caused it.
Will my connection speed go back up? Is there any way I can force this or will it just happen over time?

You cannot force the issue. A  stable connection is the key. Maintain that and DLM should relent over the next few weeks.

Multiple restarts make DLM think there's a problem so takes action to stabalise the line.

So nobody can reset it for me? I know the line itself is perfect.
