My cabinet can only reach speeds up 30 MB

Hi,

Being trying to contact Openreach whether the possibility for an upgrade on my cabinet is available, but doesn't seem there is updates which are oncoming with my cabinet.

I feel being only be able to get the maximum of 30 mb speeds in quite poor especially since I nearly paying the price as someone who can reach the speeds of 300mb.

Is there anyone who could give any advice what I could possibly could do so I can get better speeds?

@Marksmith1

Changes to your cabinet would not make any difference, as its the distance from your cabinet to your house which determines the speed.

In order to find out what services and speed range you should be getting, please enter your phone number into this form.

Re: My cabinet can only reach speeds up 30 MB

You should get a connection speed between 30 and 44Mbs.

Your actual download speed would be less than that.

You can check your connection speed by logging into the home hub.

If you are using the BT Smart hub you can get your connection stats by, Opening a new web browser on your connected device and type 192.168.1.254 or bthomehub.home into the address bar. This will open the Hub Manager.  Click Advanced Settings’ and then ‘Technical log’
