Neighbour has Full Fibre, we don't, how do we order?

Hello,

Would love some insight and help on this. These two properties are on the same road. How do I order a fibre connection. I have a terminating black box on the pole outside my house. We are all connected to the same cabinet.

Was the check for your property done by telephone number or address?

I'm also assuming the black box you refer to is a CBT such as below (right hand side of the pole). Does the CBT have any ports taken up, e.g does the Neighbour who has an active FTTP service have their connection from this CBT?

The VDSL predictions for the two addresses are not particularly similar , and the observed download speeds at 20Mb and 11.4Mb , suggest the two addresses are not particularly close together , in the OP , it’s stated that the two property’s are on the same road , that’s a bit vague , it could be a long road and the property’s are at either end of it, are both property’s served from the same pole ?
I know of a semi rural area , where there is a CBT on a pole and the addresses that could be served from it show as having WBC FTTP available, less than 100m away , some other addresses , that are served from a different pole , that has no CBT , don’t have FTTP, the ‘lucky’ ones were in the initial phase of the FTTP build , the others were not in the initial build but will eventually be covered.

In that image are two anti creep devices and a TM type node , that’s not to say there isn’t also a CBT also on the pole it’s just not shown on the image

Many thanks, it seems only one image came through. This is different to the ones with rounded tops and is right outside the property? or is it just the same
