Network dropping at 2am every morning

There was a major outage last Friday , BT have now said it’s fixed however my line is still resetting network every 24 hours at around. 2 am. Concerned my speed will be throttled if this continues. Bt fault checker says no issues anything else I can check?

Re: Network dropping at 2am every morning

Hi @Mwallwork,

Thank you for posting. If you're seeing the connection drop at the same time each night it could because of REIN (Repetitive Electrical Impulse Noise) or SHINE (Single High level Impulse Noise Event).

If you take a look at REIN  for details on how to check that. Let me know how you get on?

Thanks,

Paddy

@Mwallwork

Is it possible that it's the DLM doing its job and making adjustments to your line? That tends to happen around 2am normally.

If you check the connection stats each day after a reset that might tell you what's going on.

Re: Network dropping at 2am every morning

Hi this might be the case I’ve no idea what that is . I had a outage last weekend could BT now be readjusting my line at 2 to optimise it ? What should I be looking out for in the stats?
