New account speed

Hello there

 

i had an infinity install the other day and speed seems somewhat down from the 38Mbit/9.5Mbit speed i was hoping for

 

Can anything be done? The Hub Manager report.

if it was self iinstall are you using the test socket with a new filter?  test socket.jpg

It wasn't self install just using the filter supplied by the engineer

It should do, I can do it on mine. Failing that, could you take a screenshot and post that, editing out the information such as your phone number in Paint beforehand.

Yeah something isn't right. If possible, could you remove the front plate from your master socket and behind it should be another socket (as displayed above). If you connect a microfilter into that socket and then connect your router to the filter, that will eliminate any of your internal wiring from the circuit. Once you've done that, post the router stats here again as you did in your original post and we'll see if it's made any difference. If it makes no difference, you'll need an engineer visit.

if you connect to test socket can you just check that none of your extension sockets have a dialtone - just to check internal wiring is wired as expected
