New customer shocked at installation cancelled 3 times!

Think I've made a bad decision moving to BT.

Moving broadband & my installation is being postponed yet again after 3+ weeks so far. What a shambles!

Is it always like this being with BT?

No it is not normal
I suggest you contact the forum mods they should be able to get this problem sorted for you this is a link to them http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4951


They normally reply by email or phone directly to you within 3 working days they will take personal ownership of your problem until resolved and will keep you informed of progress


They are a UK based BT specialist team who have a good record at getting problems solved


This is a customer to customer self help forum the only BT presence here are the forum moderators

it is normal i had to wait a month to get mine installed

From the day I orded online it took 14 days for an engineer. My cousin who orded 3 days later over the phone has had one date of the 31st of May and now a new date of 14th of June.

Is this normal?  Not normal, but alas not at all unusual.  Also not unusual for the installer not to show up on the date appointed, despite last minute texts confirming imminent arrival.
