First question from me, I have had problems for months/years with my internet connection, always worse when the weather is wet. My download speed is showing today at 3.92 upload speed 14.01. Spoke online to try and solve the problem, they said I needed a new router, it came yesterday and does not appear to work, goes blue then when I try to search for anything turns orange and goes off, so I am back to using the old one.
Buffering all the time when I am trying to watch football.
Don't feel I am getting a good service, done all the tests as stipulated, what next?
Any suggestions please?

in order for the forum members to help please can you post the stats from your router (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser) and if HH5 then go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and if HH6/SH2 then advanced settings then technical log information .
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal
