No BT Mastersocket

I am having Infinity installed on Tuesday with a visit from a BT Engineer as there is no Mastersocket in the house will they fit me a new one, I am having Infinity 2 installed.

Thanks also our main wire comes into the bedroom upstairs, will we have to have the new Mastersocket there or can we have it downstairs.

That was in my Dads house and he had problems as it was installed incorrectly from Quinns and had to be rectified by Openreaach.

If it is a BT engineer that is coming to install a master socket, he/she will place it where you want it.

from the other thread you have posted you already have infinity installed not sure why you are asking about a master socket

That was installed in my Dads house, my address has only just been activated for Infinity.
