No broadband

Hi I changed my broadband from sky to bt infinity and it was activated 9/11 and when i connected the hub 6 it just showed a constant orange light so rang customer services who arranged for an engineer to visit the following day after spending 5 and half hours at my home he told me it looked like an authentification issue so I rang customer services again and they told me it would be all sorted by midnight but wasnt rang them again on 10/11 and they said they would send another engineer tiday but one hasnt arrived just wondering if anyone could help
