No connection

Go to solution

Since I moved house I started to have issues  with BT service constantly.

Every month BT takes money from me and in return I'm getting a service (no service at all actually) not even worth a penny. Firstly the issue was with the connection at my new address, where the engineer couldn't connect the service properly and left saying he coudn't do anything. After few phone calls to BT 2 or 3 weeks later another engineer arrived. This time he connected us successfully as we thought but it was just a short moment of happiness unfortunately. There has been no week, not even the day without the issues with BT services. Sometimes it was a 20-30 minutes disruption , sometimes even hours. But it was not the worst. Currently we have no broadband and TV for days for example the December 14 we did not have access to the network for over 72 hours! Afterwards the broadband started working magically and after 2-3 days disappeared again - not mentioned this few hours breaks during this period. The following week the situation repeated itself. Again. And again. Now the Christmas the most important event in the whole year! The people spending time with families and friends. Communicating with each other, meeting etc. But not I because BT gave me for an amazing gift - no broadband at all since December 24 after 6 PM!!! But it was not the worst either.Since Christmas until now BT suplied the service for 2 days only, but they have taken nearly £70. Since Christmas I keep making complaints and try troubleshooting but no result. BT just keep calling me asking me still the same questions and promising a "specialist team" to fix the issues. I stopped believing and just giving up as I heard those "promises" many times. Another problem is that BT without my agreement or even without any information raised the price nearly 50% although do not provide a service. I feel I can't do anything. Anyone any advise? I am tired of this. It has been 4 months when I have had service for a month or two overall.

yes, they keep calling me as they have been before and I hear the same "we are sorry, blah,blah,blah...we will send "specialist team", blah, blah, blah...". Same questions, same answers nothing has been done. Now they want me to pay £65 for period when service was for two days? So how much BT service actualy cost?! £32 a day?!

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

Are you speaking with BT in UK or overseas call centre? I can't nor wouldn't comment on monetary issues, however if you have an open fault condition it can be looked at by the moderators of this forum, who are BT employees.

Where there have been repeated attempts to fix a problem, its usually best to ask for moderator help, as they can see the fault history, and take ownership, even though it may take a few days before they can look at the case.

Often people come to this forum as a last resort Smiley Wink
