Normal Fibre Service in FTTP Property.

If you opt for a normal fibre service but live in an fttp premises, how does this work? Is there a regular phoneline installed alongside the fttp kit? Are phone services now provided over the fibre as I have heard that this was previously an issue due to switching numbers to the fttp service. Thanks in advance.

Re: Normal Fibre Service in FTTP Property.

If you are able to order FTTC (not even sure if you can if your premises has FTTP) then it will need a copper phone line to provide it.

Edit: Some FTTP provisions are FVA (fibre voice) others are supplied with standard copper phone line
