Not happy with engineer and infinity installation

Engineer arrived, changed the faceplate and plugged in the new modem. I was told I would have to connect wirelessly, no option for him to install the modem upstairs. My pc network is ethernet only, so I have no internet besides my mobile device. Engineer explajned absolutely nothing. I am unhappy to say the least.

Phone BT and complain. I assume you had a contractor installer and not an Openreach engineer. The installer should have either moved the master socket to a suitable location or fitted a data extension cable so that the Homehub could be located beside your computer.

Yeah, it was a contractor. Disappointed, but hopefully it will be resolved.
