Openreach - External CSP
I live on a new build estate. My property is the only property on the development with an old style box (looks like an external feed for copper) with a T in a circle logo.
All other houses have the Openreach external CSP.
Do you know why this could be?

Re: Openreach - External CSP
No, I just don't know why I'm the only person to have this box.
I also believe you can't order ultrafast fibre on the one I have.

Re: Openreach - External CSP
The CSP is just a weatherproof housing for the splice between the internal and external fibre, can't see how it can have any impact on what service you can order.

Re: Openreach - External CSP
Openreach are no longer installing CSP’s on New Sites.
Instead they are now using a Connectorised Female to Female Connector Lead.
Its still FTTP you’ll have, it’s just not Spliced and instead connected together using Connectors.
I’ve seen a few New Sites that have a mix of CSP’s and those with the Female to Female Connectors, why I don’t know but either way it’s all FTTP.
